Requirements

Before you start, make sure that:

1. Your my-PV device is connected to the Internet.
2. Your device is visible and reachable in the my-PV Portal.

You will need two pieces of information from the portal: your serial number and your API key.

Step 1: Find the Serial Number

1. Open the my-PV Portal at https://live.my-pv.com and log in.
2. Look in the system bar — there you will find your serial number in parentheses, e.g. (12345678).
3. Copy the serial number — you will need it shortly in the app.

Step 2: Check Software Version

Before activating the API, make sure your device is up to date.

1. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right to open settings.
2. Expand the Advanced Settings section.
3. Scroll all the way down to the software version.
4. Check if an update is available and perform it if necessary.

Step 3: Set Control Type to “my-PV API"

1. Go to Control Settings (also in settings).
2. Set the control type to: my-PV API

Step 4: Generate and Copy API Key

1. Navigate to the API section in settings.
2. Click Generate Key.
3. The API key will be displayed — copy it.

Step 5: Enter Serial Number and API Key in the App

1. Open the app.
2. Enter the following data in the my-PV setup dialog:
   • Serial number (from Step 1)
   • API key (from Step 4)
3. Save the settings — done, your my-PV system will be automatically detected!

Only for AC THOR / AC THOR 9s: Adjust Power Values

If you have connected a smaller heating element than the maximum power of your device, you must enter the actual power:

In this case, enter the actual power of your heating element in the app so that the control works correctly.
