ABB offers with the Terra AC a modern wallbox that can charge excess PV power from your solar system into your car via an OCPP interface.
Thanks to the integration with us, the wallbox can be operated from anywhere in the world. The use of the ABB ChargerSyncβ’ App and Web platform is, however, limited.
Preparation
Around the ABB Terra AC To connect with us it is necessary to activate the OCPP backend of the wallbox.
Before starting the setup you must connect your ABB Wallbox connect to the Internet and the latest updates install.
When you create a wallbox with us, your OCPP URL will be displayed in the wallbox menu.

You must now enter this link in the TerraConfig deposit.
- Go to your TerraConfig app
- Go to Configure a charger
- Choose your wallbox
- Make sure the charging current is set to maximum power
- Press OCPP Server
- Enable Enable External Server
- Go to Custom Server - only available on your device
- Enter your OCPP URL
- Press Confirm Configuration
Alternative Variante:
To set up the OCCP backend, access to the TerraConfig Portal https://abb.installer.chargedot.com/ necessary. This access must be requested via ABB or your installer may already have access.
In addition, the TerraConfig App needed.
When entering the data, please ensure that the type βws://β is selected and the URL field without preceding βws://β is filled out.
A password is not necessary, the [Checkbox Passwort] must deactivated The setup is with [Okay] to confirm.

After configuring the portal, open the TerraConfig App and connect to your wallbox.

Once you have completed this configuration, it can take up to 10 minutes for your wallbox to register in our backend. As soon as the connection to your wallbox is established, it will appear in our app in the dropdown menu under your OCPP URL.

Now you can make the remaining wallbox settings and save your wallbox.
